Privacy & cookies

Short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply and to work with you, we never sell it, and we don’t track you around the web.

1. Who we are

MHS Tech Solutions is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. That means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for it.

To ask anything about privacy or to exercise your rights, email us at contact@madebymhs.com or use our enquiry form.

2. What we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, work email, company (optional), the service you’re interested in, your budget range and your message.
  • Call bookings: the details you give the booking calendar, such as your name, email, answers to its questions and your chosen time.
  • Correspondence: anything you send us while we discuss or carry out work together.
  • “Slice your project”: the description you type. It is sent to our AI provider only to generate your plan and is not stored by us. We record that the tool was used (time, text length, success or failure) but not what you wrote. Please don’t include personal or confidential information in it.
  • Technical data: like any website, our host processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the site secure, in short-lived server logs.

We don’t ask for, and ask you not to send, special category data (such as health information).

3. How we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange the call you asked for — legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To deliver work we agree with you, and invoice for it — performance of a contract.
  • To keep business, tax and accounting records — legal obligation.
  • To keep the website secure and working — legitimate interests.
  • To understand which pages and buttons are used, in aggregate — legitimate interests.

We don’t add you to mailing lists, sell or rent your data, or use it for advertising. We don’t make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide their service:

5. International transfers

Some of our providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK, we rely on the protections UK law requires: an adequacy decision (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and call bookings that don’t lead to work: deleted within 24 months of our last contact.
  • Clients: for the length of the engagement and then six years, to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations.
  • Server logs: kept by our host for a short period, typically no more than 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have your information deleted;
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.

To make a request, email us at contact@madebymhs.com or use our enquiry form. There’s no charge, and we’ll respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.

8. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own. Our analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookieless: it counts visits in aggregate without identifying you or storing anything on your device.

The booking calendar on our Book a call page is provided by Calendly. It only loads when you choose to show it; loading it lets Calendly set cookies, including optional analytics and marketing cookies. If you’d rather not, use our enquiry form or email instead. See Calendly’s cookie notice. Videos on this site load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play; YouTube may then store data on your device. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

9. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it, using reputable providers with appropriate security. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses. This site is not aimed at children and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

11. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

12. Changes to this notice

We’ll update this page if how we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
